Bridge, Westline, Kane County Maps: McKean Description: The creek is a pretty, mostly wild run. There are almost continuous riffles, with many braids and a few downed trees. Nearby roads are seldom noticeable. Difficulties: Occasional downed trees. Shuttle: To reach the put‑in from Kane, take State Route 321 north for 5.0 miles. Turn right/east onto a forest service road and go 200 yards to the creek. To reach the take‑out, continue north on State Rout 321 another 5.0 miles to the bridge at the confluence with Kinzua Creek. Gauge: None. Normal Wet Period: No available statistics on seasons. Since this section is tiny, it should normally be runnable only after a heavy rain or during spring snowmelt. |
